Increased incidence of common approaches in biodiversity protection on both sides of the border. The main objective of the project will result in the development on common confront methods in biodiversity issues. The development also of a common database will be a valuable tool in the future decision making procedures in order to elaborate management plans for these sites but also in neighboring sites. The use of innovative technology such as the flying surveillance system and also the anti-poisoning dog unit should stand as good practices that will transferred to the Bulgarian authorities. Finally, the use of similar resources and methods will produce a large scale implementation area and for this reason the models that will be produced will be more accurate and realistic.
One of the most significant results of the program will be the improved level of conservation of biodiversity in Nestos strains, Ardas river and Rodopi Mountains.
Finally many initiative that are included in the project, such as the flying surveillance system, the use of anti-poisoning dog units, the upgrade of infrastructure in feeding station (paling, labeling) and the labeling if natural trails contributes significantly in the ptoactive biodiversity protection.
